Partnerships and Collaborations

Industry Engagement

Successful partnerships with industry are a critical part of ArtCenter Berlin’s mission. Corporations, consultancies, non-profit and government agencies across the globe collaborate with us on relevant, real-world design challenges.

Each project brings a one-of-a-kind opportunity for ArtCenter Berliners to work in transdisciplinary teams within a pop-up design studio setting. Often our industry partners identify the next generation of design talent through these immersive collaborations.

Some of our esteemed partners and collaborators:

City of Berlin, Mayor’s Office / Johnson & Johnson
Sennheiser / Nestle / Vodafone / Adidas
VisitBerlin / NYC & Co / Hoffmitz Milliken Typography Center
P98a / Bikini Berlin / Factory Berlin / 25 Hours Hotel

Professional Education Workshops

ArtCenter Berlin hosts focused education workshops for alumnae who are looking to re-connect with ArtCenter’s core tenets, challenging norms in the business and creative worlds. These educational experiences enhance alums professional practices through team building exercises, creative challenges, looking at industry trends through a disruptive lens while being introduced to new methodologies that complement their own work.

After an intensive workshop weekend, the alumnae community gathers to reacquaint themselves with their greater ArtCenter family at some very iconic Berlin locations.

Professional Practice

Berlin is one of the fastest growing “start-up” cities in Europe and a key player in mobility and sustainability tech. ArtCenter Berlin delivers insights about this through their speaker and design panels in collaboration with other pro-active community partners.

This focus on business acumen reflects the creative vision of our community, enhancing opportunities for ArtCenter students and alumni to pursue internal routes in traditional corporations as “intrapreneurs” alongside starting companies of their own within the dynamics of European culture.

Internships

ArtCenter Berlin actively seeks opportunities to expand its network of professionals across various art, design and start up industries throughout Europe. While students significantly benefit from these partnerships, our professional partners benefit as well by receiving creative support, innovative ideas and fresh perspectives from our students and identifying future talent to join their teams.
