How will we buy goods and services in the near future? In a world saturated with over-branding and sameness, there are new needs and opportunities for unique retail experiences, Re-Boot Retail examines emerging directions in retail concept development, the influences of mobile and online media on shopping behavior and the spatial shopping experience from brick and mortar to pop-up store opportunities.

Supported by a consortium of corporate sponsors, ArtCenter students were tasked with firsthand cultural research and concept development while experiencing Berlin. 5 teams of 3 multi-disciplinary students explored the city and developed brand and retail directions through the filters of Eat / Drink, Fashion, Health & Wellness, Play and Sound.
